Letting God Work Through You

We live in a world that constantly pulls us in every direction, toward success, recognition, comfort, and control. The culture around us teaches us to rely on our own strength, to hustle harder, and to seek approval from others. But when you truly begin to walk with Christ, you realize that to allow God to work through you, you must turn your back on much of what the world calls “good.”

Letting God work through you begins with surrender. That word can feel heavy. It sounds like giving up.  In the kingdom of God, surrender isn’t weakness. It’s power. It means laying down your own agenda to make room for His. It’s saying, Not my will, but Yours be done.”

That shift doesn’t always come easily. Sometimes, it looks like walking away from certain relationships. Other times, it’s refusing to compromise your values for the sake of fitting in. It might even mean letting go of your carefully crafted plans so that God can lead you into something better, something eternal.

Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. But every time you choose faith over fear, obedience over convenience, and holiness over compromise, you give God more room to move through you.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be willing. When you let go of the world’s grip, your life becomes fertile ground for God’s purpose to grow.

And when God works through you, it’s not about your strength, it’s about His power being made perfect in your weakness.

Let Him work. Let Him lead. You were made for this.
